Situated in Sonipat, Haryana, the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy (JSGP) was established in 2012 as the flagship constituent college. Having a faculty strength of 44 highly dedicated professionals, JSGP offers a diversified choice of 4 courses in 3 degree programmes with specialisations in economics and public policy.

Jindal School of Government is equipped with a multitude of facilities for its students to have an enriching experience of learning. The students will get sufficient scope to practice their favourite sports as well, since the college has various kinds of sports facilities. The health of the students is taken due care of, and it has a health centre with first-aid facilities. Students' academic pursuits are supported through a well-stacked library and very good IT infrastructure. The academic curriculum at JSGP is rich and diverse. The school has 4 full-time courses catering to different strata of higher education, a 4 year BA Hons in Economics, two 2-year Master's programs in the areas of Public Policy and Economics, and a 6-year Ph.D. program in Public Policy.

The admission process of JSGP is based on selective intake for different programs. For the MA Public Policy programme, selection occurs through a two-round process, first, a closed-book examination, followed by an interview with faculty. An analogous holistic approach is taken for the MA in Economics, where applicants will be judged on the basis of a closed-book entrance examination, followed by an interview with the faculty.
