JLU School of Commerce and Economics, Bhopal: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

JLU School Commerce and Economics, Bhopal was set up in 2013 and is a private institution accredited to Jagran Lakecity University. The school is situated in Mugaliyachap Ratibad Bhopal and offers all kinds and streams of commerce and economics classes. It offers 9 approved programmes under 5 degrees and both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes approved by AICTE and UGC. The institute now has a twenty three members strong faculty, and it has a coed system. JLU School of Commerce and Economics has specialised courses of B.Com Hons in Strategic Finance which is affiliated to CMA, USA and B.Com Hons in Accounting affiliated to ACCA, UK.

Facilities offered by the JLU School Commerce and Economics help in improving the learning activities of the students. The campus has a rich library, which is equipped with hundreds of books and journals; it has membership access to DELNET services. The computerize facilities are effectively used to improve educational output of the students which include computerized laboratories endowed with internet facilities. In terms of physical fitness and recreation facilities the school has a sports ground for both indoor and outdoor games, a gym and sports swimming pool. There are different hostels for boys and girls respectively which have basic facilities and also canteens. This also has an academic and cultural activity centre; a cafeteria offering regional and international delicacies, and a banking hall for Lawson’s.

JLU School of Commerce and Economics provides for a total of 9 programmes wherein it has six undergraduate programmes and three postgraduate programmes. All are on full time and offer a wide range of courses in Commerce, Economics and Management disciplines. The B.Com programme is broadly offered for the follows various variations which include honors courses taught with international certifications of CMA (USA) and ACCA (UK). At the postgraduate level the school offers MBA in Financial Markets and Banking and Finance and Master in Economy. These courses help student to acquire practical skills and WORLD VIEW in their disciplines of study.

JLU School of Commerce and Economics also follow the tradition of admitting students on the basis of JLUET (Jagran Lakecity University Entrance Test) and interview. Any student with the required academic qualifications is required to present him or herself for counselling and be enrolled if the requirements are met. There are also scholarships provided to students who may qualify for it in the institute. There are International scholarship opportunities offered where the university offers up to 50percent on annual tuition fees depending with the admission performance of the applicant. In order to qualify for a scholarship, the student has to provide different documents such as; academic certificates in terms of income proof, and identity documents. The basic purpose of the scholarship programme is to motivate talent and help the students to continue with their education.
