Jorhat Institute of Science and Technology Jorhat popularly known as JIST Jorhat was established in 1971. JIST Jorhat offers various courses at UG and PG levels. JIST Jorhat courses include BE/BTech, BSc(Hons), BSc and M.Sc.

College infrastructure is very nice and the infrastructure is well maintained also they still providing good libraries and food WiFi with internet. Ac classrooms will be there in college. Sports facility will be there Indoor and outdoor games with be there in campus.

the college has old fashioned infrastructure but has 2 fields one for cricket and one for football, also it has a basketball court, the college equipment are old and most of them don't work properly but good enough to complete tasks

The college infrastructure is old and damaged but well enough to do the work. The college has less and old equipment. The college's main building is old-fashioned but beautiful. The college's classrooms are like that of the school.
