Joseph Arts and Science College Thirunavalur started in 2000 is one of the leading co-educational institution situated in Kallakurichi District of Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college offers 25 courses across 10 degree programmes which enables 768 students. The college effectively has 13 members on the faculty list and is located on a campus of 10 acres of land. Even though certain data concerning its ranking are lacking, Joseph Arts and Science College sent its word common purpose to produce quality education across the arts, sciences, commerce and computer application discipline.

For the post graduate studies the college offers M.Com,  M.Sc Computer Science & Applications, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, MA English & Tamil. The college also offers M.Phil and Ph.D for the research seekers in every field like English, Tamil, Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Science, and Mathematics. Though, course-wise enrollment is not shared yet the total intake capacity of the university for all the course programs equal 768.

The primary goal of admission in Joseph Arts and Science College is neither selective nor discriminating but based on merit.
