JS Memorial Mahavidyalaya, Mainpuri: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

It is a quite young college founded in 2015 and is located in Bhongaon, Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. This is a full time college with a variety of undergraduate courses to satisfy the need pf higher education of students in the various fields. The education of the institute is also accredited by National Council for Teacher Education-NCTE which give the quality standards of the institution. JS Memorial Mahavidyalaya has a total strength of 294 students and comprising of 15 faculties which makes the student-teacher ratio highly productive for learning. 

The college has several facilities that have been established to give students a broad pam optimism to their education. Any representable library offers a large number of sources that meet the student’s needs and help them develop their academic work. For the enthusiasts in sports and games and fitness, the college provides sporting amenities that can help strike a good balance between work and play. A theatre and an auditorium also exist on the campus to facilitate different occasions such as seminars, cultural activities and events hence enhancing a splendid lifestyle. Besides, the college is authorized with departmental laboratory whereby the students are conducted within practical courses with trials relevant to their courses. 

Three different courses are available at JS Memorial Mahavidyalaya college which are as follows: The institute offer fulltime programs in degree in Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) both courses take three years to complete. These programs provide students with the worthy knowledge in their chosen fields, so they can proceed to further studies, or gain practice in diverse professions. Also, there is the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) program which the college provides and takes two years to complete this course; it was put in place to facilitate those who want to pursue a teacher careers in primary schools. The programme based at Delhi is approved and has an admission capacity of 100 students The institute is thus committed to teacher education as seen from the D.El.Ed programme. 

Admission criteria in this institution known as JS Memorial Mahavidyalaya differs from course to course. As for the programme of D.El.Ed, there are two criteria for admission: academic score card of the qualifying examination and or entrance test. The college also adheres to any other admission procedures as provided by the Uttar Pradesh state government. The merit based system makes the policy guarantees that eligible candidates to be given the chance of attaining their educational objectives at the institute. 

As for the BA and B.Sc in specific admission procedures are not indicated but one can infer that they are merit based/ the candidates’ performance in the qualifying exams. The wide spectrum of courses offered along with students related facility make JS Memorial Mahavidyalaya as a ray of hope for students of Mainpuri and around who want to take admission in higher secondary classes. These include the balance the college has had between arts and sciences and the teacher education that show the college’s aim at producing a diverse pool of teachers to teach diverse students in the region.
