JSP Sangh’s BF Yaligar College of Education, Munoli started in the year 2004 is a reputed institution imparting teacher training. This affiliated college is located in Munoli, Tq Saundatti, Dist-Belgaum, Karnataka and covers a land area of 10 acres. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) our college admits both boys and girls for pursuing their teaching career. In total, the college has 191 students and 16 members of faculty, so the favorable as ratio of students to teachers allows providing students with individual attention and quality education.
The college has numerous infrastructures which are intended to foster learning and economic development of students. The campus has provided rooms for boys and girls respectively in case the candidate has to spend the night in the station. The college library which is fully equipped has a sitting capacity of 100 learners and holds a stock of 3283 books’ acts as information center for staff as well as learners. The college also also provides some sports facilities and gym for maintaining of production and recreation of the students. As far as academic amenities are concerned, the institution has well furnished laboratories such as Science Lab, Psychology Lab, Technology Lab and so on for some practical exposures. This makes it possible for the college’s IT facilities to make students conform to technological developments in education. An auditorium hosts different events and seminars, a canteen is responsible for serving food to the college members. A science and health department is also equipped with an accommodation for first-aid treatment and care for students.
BF Yaligar College of Education affiliated to JSP Sangh also aims mainly in teacher education where JSP Sangh offers only one B.Ed. This is a two academic year full time course and carries an approved intake capacity of hundred seats and shows the intention of the institution to produce qualified educators. The B.Ed programme course of study as proposed is in part aimed at imparting competencies in the students needed to face the modern teaching challenges.
