JSS Halbhavi School of Art, Dharwad was initiated in 1935 aimed to have a prominent school for art education particularly in Karnataka, India. Affiliated to University of Mysore, this institution in Dr. Shivarathri Rajendra Circle, Mysuru has been nurturing creative careers for more than eighty years. In a measured manner, today the institute is providing only one undergraduate programme BVA in Painting to a limited number of 35 students with help from a faculty strength of three faculty members.
