Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Rayalaseema University, Kurnool.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have obtained a Degree from any recognized university in India.
The candidates who have passed the qualifying examination i.e., B.A./B.Sc./B.Com /B.Sc (Home Science ) B.C.A./B.B.M with an aggregate of 45% marks and above in part – II ( group subject ) are alone eligible for admission into B.Ed. courses. However, in the case of SC/ST candidates, a mere pass is sufficient.
The candidates possessing B.E./B.Tech./M.B.B.S./Ag. B.Sc/BVSC/BHMT/B. Pharmacy Degrees and other professional and job-oriented Degrees like LLB are not eligible for admission into B.Ed. courses. Candidates possessing a Master's Degree without undergraduate study are also not eligible for admission.

Admission Details

The admissions shall be made in the order of merit on the basis of the rank assigned in the Common Entrance Test ( EdCET)/Common Entrance Test–AC (EdCET-AC) and to the extent of intake capacity.
