Kaka Bhukhan Singh Gaya Baksh Singh Mahavidyalaya, Narayanpur (Ajgan), Unnao – 206 205 (U.P.) is a College affiliated to Bundelkhand University, from the academic session, 2015–16. This institution offers two undergraduate programmes: BA and B.Sc, two full course degree programmes offered in three years duration full time. With a total student enrolment of 1,554, the college is able to enrol large number of students in the region to prepare them to become professionals. Located at geographic coordinates of 26°32’30.3″N and 80°29’16.2″E, the college can be readily accessed by students in its vicinity. The college has other common facilities which are aimed at improving the learning process of the students in the college. 

Indeed a library functions as a resource centre, which avails to students all the necessary resource tirades available in learning. As much as recreational activities are concerned, Kaka Bhukhan Singh Gaya Baksh Singh Mahavidyalaya boasts of several amenities which include volley ball, cricket, football, badminton, hammer throw, discus throw, handball amongst others for the whole spirited bunch. What these sports facilities make the students understand is they have to be fit and also healthy from the spirit as well as the body and that they need to learn how to work together for success in any sport they partake in. Accommodations, hostels or dining services: The college also ensured well-equipped laboratories for practicals, especially for the science club. A large hall for gatherings and seminars is located on the territory of the campus and contributes to the development of the intellectual and creative processes. Also, the college provides a well-facilitated and clean classroom to create a good environment for learning for all learners. 

Being a new college, Kaka Bhukhan Singh Gaya Baksh Singh Mahavidyalaya currently provides only two undergraduate courses and, both of the programmes are only on regular mode. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) and the Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) programmes are aimed at developing a sound knowledge base of the respective disciplines. 

This paper aims to assess the current admission process at Kaka Bhukhan Singh Gaya Baksh Singh Mahavidyalaya with an aim of determining the effectiveness of the process being followed.
