Kakatiya Government College, Hanamkonda widely known as KGC Hanamkonda was established in the year 1972. KGC courses are provided in a total of 38 programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, MA, M.Com and M.Sc degree courses in the disciplines of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, Commerce, Sciences and Management and Business Administration. KGC Hanamkonda admissions to the said courses are done based on the scores of TS DOST followed by the TS DOST counselling round. According to the data provided by the NIRF 22, about 229 students were placed in the KGC Hanamkonda placements drive. Kakatiya Government College is affiliated with the Kakatiya University, Warangal. College Infrastructure
College premises are clean and maintained well with regular plantations. Coming to computer labs, they are good. There are few gym equipments in the college. It also has spacious ground where NCC activities are carried out.

College Infrastructure
Classrooms are average. Too small for all students to be sufficient. There is no facility of smart boards. Library is available. Sports are also available. Coaching is also given. Living spaces are good.

College infrastructure is worse. Classrooms are not good and so congested. There is availability of library. Sports are available. Those who are interested can join. No facility of smart boards. Hostels are not available. Living spaces are good.
