The placement rate for the CS/IT branch is exceptionally high; practically every student gets hired. Few organisations visit college for core branches, although big software companies enable Core branches students to sit for placement tests. Although other main branch firms do visit college, the IT industry does the most mass recruitment. To secure a job in the core industry, you must be proficient at both your core skills and your communication skills.

The final-year placement process often begins in late September, with large mass recruiters like as TCS and others visiting college, and lasts until February or March.

Kakinada Institute of Engineering and Technology is a private NAAC B++ affiliated engineering college. The college is affiliated by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada .
