Kaleswar Academy, Birbhum: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Kaleswar Academy, established in 2016, is an affiliated college located in Birbhum, West Bengal. This co-educational campus is set on a compact 1.16-acre campus and has been undertaking quality education in the field of teaching. The institution has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education to offer two full-time courses with a total enrolment of 200 students. With a faculty strength of 11 members, all students are provided with individual attention and counseling.

All kinds of amenities are facilitated to the students for making their academic as well as extracurricular activities smooth. There is a library that acts as a knowledge hub, and the relevant resources are put in place for the aspiring educators. It also provides facilities for sports and a gym for those interested in sports and health. To keep up with the digital age, it has invested in excellent IT infrastructure. The campus also houses well-equipped laboratories for practical learning experiences. For events and seminars, there's an auditorium. The academy lays much focus on student welfare through a health center that offers first-aid facilities. Other facilities include a guest house, which accommodates visiting faculty and family members of students, a canteen that offers refreshments, and a parking space for the staff and students.

Currently, Kaleswar Academy is offering two regular courses in the field of education: Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Elementary Education. The approved intake for both the courses is 100 each, hence aggregating to 200 in total.

The admission procedure in Kaleswar Academy is based on merit, with marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The academy follows the state government, U.T. Administration, and the affiliated university's policies for admission. In the case of a B.Ed. program, selection may be made by additional criteria as per university guidelines. The admission to D.El.Ed. is also on a merit basis following the state government policies.
