Kalpataru College of Education is situated in Tiptur of Karnataka state of India. It was started in the year 2004 and is an affiliated college. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) accredited this institution which focuses on teacher education. Located on 4 acres of land, this college provides a favourable learning atmosphere to anyone seeking to be an educator one day. This college of education provides the right student/faculty ratio as it has a total number of 198 students and 13 faculty members. As of now, the college has only awarded one programme, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

The college consists of a number of facilities which are aimed at helping and improving the learning process of a student. The library is an information centre that supplies basic necessities for learning and research activities. Depending on its sport and games facilities, the college has provision for ball badminton, basket ball, chess, cricket etc. The students are connected to the use of contemporary educational facilities through IT structure. Special facilities available at Kalpataru College of Education are Psychology Lab, Computer Lab, Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab and Physics Lab that offers practical sessions needed for shaping the future teachers. There is an auditorium in the campus itself for events and seminars to assure academic texture in the college.

With regard to the courses, the focus is put on the B.Ed programme offered at Kalpataru College of Education. This is a two-year full-time course which has an approved student capacity of one hundred students. This course aims at preparing the student to the necessary professional competencies that will be demanded once firmed as teacher. Despite the fact that the college offers only one course, the college provide intensive training to its students.

The admission process of Kalpataru College of Education based on merit list in accordance with the State Government and the University norms. Applicants are then assessed according to their performance in the qualifying test or by any other means as may be determined by these bodies. This means that the college admits those students who can be capable of becoming good and efficient teachers one day.
