The Kamla Nehru Institute of Physical and Social Sciences Engineering Institute was established in the year 2008. It locates in the province of Uttar Pradesh, India, which is an autonomous college and belongs to this state. The sprawling campus covers an area of 18.295 acres and is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education. The complete intake of students for this college is 489 for all the courses it offers put together. The B.Tech courses offered by this four-year course include Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, with 60 seats each. Additionally, the college offers lateral entries for the above B.Tech programs, each having 6 seats. The institute runs a program in Civil Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering, each with an intake of 60 students, for those interested in diploma courses.

The admission process at KNIPSS Engineering Institute varies depending on the program. For the B.Tech programs, the students may select the institute through JEE Main counselling after clearing the Joint Entrance Examination Main.
