Kanya Mahavidyalaya is an Affiliated College established in 1983 and is situated in Shivaji Nagar, Miraj – Maharashtra. This institution therefore goes to school nearly four decades as a provider of educational services in the community. Established in a campus of 2 acre, the college has total enrolment capacity of 989students and faculty members 11 in number. Kanya Mahavidyalaya being a general Degree College offer four degrees from Under Graduate and Post Graduate degrees. Its main mission is thus to impart quality education in tune with the development of its various programmes in the Arts, Commerce and Economics streams.

Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Miraj has four courses with all the courses being of full time. The college provides two undergraduate programmes: Three years undergraduate programmes offered at OSIE include the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). For post graduate studies the option are Master of Arts in Economics (MA Economics) and Master of Commerce (M.Com) both in Two years. These programmes are specifically meant to provide the student with specialised knowledge and skills in the chosen area of specialisation so that the graduate can work successfully in that field or proceed to the next level of education. The total strength of the students to be admitted in the college is 989 and it aims to assure quality education to a large strength of students of the region.
