It was founded in 2017. Karimganj Polytechnic is a technical institute at Maizgram, Karimganj, Assam. The institution is AICTE-approved affiliated college and rapidly has grown to become the name and reputation of technical education at the region. Institute Strengths: 517 students; 3 faculty members. At present Karimganj Polytechnic offers three diploma programmes with a different spec in each of the branches of engineering.

The institute has facilities to upgrade the learning process. The college library is a resource centre provided here for the students where they can get access to a vast range of technical literature and reference materials. Department-specific laboratories have been developed in the institute so that the students can derive practical knowledge. Being conscious of the reality that the present generation needs digital literacy to come out of this tech-driven world, Karimganj Polytechnic has well-equipped the computer laboratory so that the students can learn the basic IT application along with their core engineering studies. It offers three full-time three-year diploma courses. Such programmes include various branches of engineering, with the center providing its students with specialised knowledge and skills.
