Karimpur Anita Primary Teachers Training Institute formerly known as D.P.E.T. is situated at Nadia West Bengal is one of the most recognised premier institutions in the field of teacher education. This blend of male and female education institute was founded in the year 2015 and has come to be a very prominent institute in developing primary education at present. Accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), this institute functions as an affiliated college, which conducts two regular courses in teacher education. The two prime courses are B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) and D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) varying with a two years programme with 50 students in each course. These programmes are intended to prepare students for a teaching profession that enables them teach at the primary and elementary level.
