Karimpur Pannadevi College, established in 1968, is an affiliated rural college in Nadia, West Bengal. The campus, with an area of 7 acres of land, has under its aegis a galaxy of undergraduate courses in arts and sciences. With a total of 1,429 students in the student body and 50 faculty members, this institution works to provide an atmosphere conducive to academic growth and personal development. This institution has been accredited by NAAC and has 11 courses for 4 degree programmes, which range from specialisations in Bengali, English, Political Science, History, Philosophy, and Geography to Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

The institution has a number of facilities provided for students to make them feel comfortable. Among the academic facilities provided at the college, the central library stands in the centre. This library stocks around 13,500 books on every discipline, providing students with vast knowledge. For students doing science-oriented courses, the Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany laboratories are well equipped with modern instruments and apparatuses. The Department of Mathematics has a computer laboratory for numerical simulation work, and the Department of Geography has a departmental laboratory of its own. For the physical fitness of the students, besides a large playground with different types of sports activities, the college has recently opened a Multigym Centre sponsored by UGC.

Karimpur Pannadevi College offers 11 undergraduate courses, all regular full-time courses. Among them are general and honours degrees in Arts and Science. While the BA programme has the highest intake of 2,900 seats, the BSc programme offers only 50. Honours courses are offered in Bengali, English, Political Science, History, Philosophy, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. 

The admission process of Karimpur Pannadevi College has been structured and made easy so that all may have access to it. The College has hostel facilities for SC/ST students and a separate Ladies' Hostel in the campus. Applications for accommodation should be submitted at the time of first-year admission only.
