Karnataka College of Management, Bangalore (KCM Bangalore) is a affiliated college, which started in the year 2009 and is located in the North Bangalore, the centre of IT industry. Affiliated with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) it delivers a channelised concept of management education. KCM Bangalore is located in a small 2 acre plot and has a total student strength of 212, with a team of 13 full time committed faculty members. At present, the college awards only one degree programme, Master of Business Administration (MBA).
In this regard, KCM Bangalore has established several resources that supplement the student needs and learning. The college has a library with 900 books on its shelves with 5100 volumes; it subscribes to 45 National and 11 International Journals available to students for reference. In terms of technologies, a computerised laboratory with 20 Mbps internet connectivity focal point avails students with technological learning and teaching resources. It also has both, indoor and outdoor, sport facilities to encourage students to live an active lifestyle. An auditorium is used for activities and lectures so as to maintain an active learning environment. The college value student comfort and hence, the college provides separate hostels for boys and girls within the college compound. At present, KCM Bangalore is only admitting students to its MBA course; it has provision for only 120 students in the management stream. This is an advanced level full time course which takes two years to complete and covers all aspects of business administration and management. The programme's structure allows the graduates get more focused and apply what they have learnt in their practice in the corporate world.
