Karpagam Polytechnic College is an affiliated college instituted in 1998, situated in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Located on an expansive 20-acres piece of land, the institute has a provision for offering diploma courses in several fields of engineering. Karpagam Polytechnic College has enroled 137 students and 51 strong faculty members. 8 programmes are given under 1 degree and hence cater to the need of different engineering disciplines like Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Computer, Civil and Automobile Engineering.

Karpagam Polytechnic College provides rich resources and different facilities to help students develop themselves inside and outside the classroom. The library has in its collection, over eleven thousand five hundred volumes and six thousand titles across various branches of engineering, technology and basic science. For physical fitness, the gym provides for weights, power, hydraulic station and many other forms of equipment. The institution has hostels for boys and girls with comfortably sized self contained living rooms. Primary health care is provided through Karpagam Hospitals and other hospitals services. The college also has a facilities such as cafeteria, an auditorium, and even sports for the overall development of the student.

Karpagam Polytechnic College has course course offering of 8 total course which may be under full time or part time. The full time courses include diploma Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics engineering Electronics & Communication engineering, Computer engineering, Civil engineering, and Automobile engineering. Part-time study is provided at Diploma levels in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Such programmes take three years for full-time courses and four years for part-time courses. The total number of students registered at the college is 137.
