Kashmir Law College Srinagar law college was established in the year 2005 as An affiliated College situated in the beautiful city Srinagar in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. This well-respected university, Bar Council of India (BCI) Recognised college has been producing legal brains for almost two decades. The college occupies a small social area of 1 acre, so it provides students with educational niches for future legal professionals. This college has a student strength of 626 and has 9 faculty members so as to give individual attention and focus on quality education. At the moment the college has only offered two niche programs in law in order to show its continued interest in legal education in the region.
Kashmir Law College has facilities to accommodate the needs of the students in order to improve their learning experience. In the center of these is the well-equipped library that allow storing major editions of books on different branches of law containing Civil Law, Criminal Law, Taxation Law, and Constitutional Law. The library also houses very essential legal databases including All India Reports, Supreme Court Cases, the Criminal Law Journal etc. Purposefully for practical learning the college has Moot Court Room where there is seating arrangement like District and Sessions court so that student can handle the cases practically. The institution also values technological education through availing of computers in the computer lab with internet connection and allow the program to install licensed software for the computer related courses. Other amenities provided are an auditorium, where group meetings, seminars and other events can be held; a canteen; sports facilities; and a first-aid station; serious illnesses may require treatment at the Sheri Kashmir Institute of Medical Science nearby.
Kashmir Law College offers two full-time law programmes: The Bachelor of Laws (LLB) course has been designed in two phases: first, a 3-year LLB (Hons) course and second, a 5-year integrated BA LLB (Hons) programme . Each course has an approval for 60 students’ intake and therefore 120 students per year. These programmes are specifically designed to deliver extensive understanding of law and are inclusive of both the knowledge theories as well as the skills aspects.

The structures are well modified and aptly built in the sense that it gives you the lawyer vibes. Well vented and airy atmosphere is available. Though I think a lot can be done on the part of hygienic strata of college.
