Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College (KGNC), started in 2003, is one of the premier constituent Nursing colleges situated at Puducherry, India. Spread over a sixty six acres of land, KGNC has got a programme in nursing with various programmes accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The college has a total headcount of 423 and faculty of 54; the student teacher ratio being favorable. KGNC is comprised of three degrees, including 8 courses, focused on different nursing specialties. Employing 37% male and 63% female students, the college is also cosmopolitan in terms of gender balance.

Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College has a corporate philosophy that envisages the provision of world class teaching amenities to foster improved learning outcomes by students. The college focuses on offering all cuts of nursing courses; the college has 8 full time nursing courses out of which 4 are at undergraduate level, 3 are masters level and 1 is doctoral level. The speciality programme of B Sc Nursing has an intake capacity of 100 and Post basic B.Sc Nursing has an intake capacity of 40. Presently at the post graduate level, KGNC offers M.Sc programmes in various fields of nursing with an intake capacity of five in each specialty.
