Katahguri College Nagaon was established in 1988 which is private and Co-educational College situated in Katahguri, Nagaon, Assam. This affiliated college is located in a small 10 acres land which provide tranquil atmosphere required to study. The college’s total strength of students is 559 and the faculty members strength is 32, which show that the college has better strength ratio of students and teachers that actually help in providing personal attention to each student.  

Katahguri College has put in place various facilities that improve on the learning factor of a student in college. Situated within every university, the library grants students the opportunity to borrow up to two books or four for major students of the university for 15 days at most. Sporting lovers will have numerous incentives to practice their talent since the college boasts of scalable indoor and outdoor sports facilities. As I said for the ease to control and as per the convenience, there are different sheds allocated for the students as well as staff vehicles parking. The college also has department based laboratory where practical demonstrations about selected topics within specific fields are made. An auditorium is designed to provide a place for events and seminars with conversation, creation, and cultural values.

Katahguri College provides a total of 9 programmes out of which all the programmes are Full Time Bachelor of Arts (BA). These are a general bachelor of arts degree, and eight honours subjects in the following fields of study.
