Katgara Polytechnic Institute, Dahanu, was established in 2011 as an affiliated college based in Bordi, Maharashtra. The institute is duly approved by AICTE and offers diploma programs in several streams of engineering. Situated on a 5.59-acre campus, it has a current enrolment of 185 students and 13 faculty members. At Katgara Polytechnic Institute, there are four full-time courses leading to diplomas in Civil, Computer, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering. 

It is equipped with a variety of facilities that assist in the holistic development of students on its premises. It acts as the knowledge hub by performing the role of a library with all arrangements for research and study. Each department has laboratories with the latest equipment to aid in practical learning processes. The IT infrastructure will keep the students connected and updated through digital resources. Sports facilities and a gym are available for the body. Other facilities include an auditorium where events and seminars are held, along with a cafeteria providing refreshments. Further, the institute also runs a health center and has first-aid facilities available with them.
