Kavi Pooranmal Das Shikshan Sansthan, Etah came to its operational existence in 2014 and is a co-educational institution situated at Kutubpur in the district of Etah, Uttar Pradesh. It is a NCTE approved institute that is especially focused on teaching and teachers education. This college is situated in a space of 2.16 acres; however, at present, it offers the educational facility to 334 students and comprises 26 faculty members. Currently, the institute offers two degree programs in teacher education at two different levels. Due to its’ focus on the cultivation of future educators, Kavi Pooranmal Das Shikshan Sansthan a very important stakeholder in the provision of education in the region. 

The institute has number of facilities that kindle the spirit of learning in its students . The college library functions as a source of information to thestudent, and the latter is therefore availed a host of educational resources. It actively develops technology, and with a great Information Technology body, the students are knowledgeable in current learning technologies. There are opportunities for the students athletic center for physical fitness and recreation and sporting amenities. To the comfort of the college community, the college also provides a guest or the waiting room for the visitors including the faculty and the students’ relatives or friends. For purposes of experiential learning, the college accommodates department specific laboratories. There is a health center in the camp with equipped first-aid post for treatment of any enshrine medical emergencies. However, the college, houses a gym facility for students, to help them embrace flexibility, strength and endurance. 

Kavi Pooranmal Das Shikshan Sansthan has limited programmes that focus in the area of education offering two full time courses. The institute offers academic program such as Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) Program. Al these programs are intended to produce student for teaching profession at various levels of education. The total sanctioned strength for these courses is 150 per year with 100 seats for B.Ed and the remaining 50 seats in D.El.Ed. This kind of ‘devil is in the detail’ scale of development also assists the institute to keep student-intensity low and provide quality education focusing on a particular area of study. 

At Kavi Pooranmal Das Shikshan Sansthan, the admission is based on qualification marks of the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The institute also operates with the admission standards as provided by the Uttar Pradesh local government and the university it is directly linked to. For the B.Ed program, candidates are admitted on merit of the qualifying examination, as well as on the result of state level entrance test. In the same manner, the D.El.Ed programme admissions are given through the merit list prepared with reference to the state government notifications.
