Kavi Pooranmal Das Shikshan Sansthan, Etah, came to its operational existence in 2014 and is a co-educational institution situated in Kutubpur in the district of Etah, Uttar Pradesh. It is a NCTE approved institute that is especially focused on teaching and teachers education. This college is situated in a space of 2.16 acres, however, at present, it offers the educational facility to 334 students and comprises 26 faculty members. The institute offers two programmes in teacher education at two different levels. Due to its’ focus on the cultivation of future educators, Kavi Pooranmal Das Shikshan Sansthan is an important stakeholder in the provision of education in the region.
Kavi Pooranmal Das Shikshan Sansthan has number of facilities that kindle the spirit of learning in its students . It actively develops technology, and with a great Information Technology body, the students are knowledgeable in current learning technologies. For purposes of experiential learning, the college accommodates department specific laboratories. There is a health centre in the camp with equipped first-aid post for treatment of any enshrine medical emergencies. However, the college houses a gym facility for students, to help them embrace flexibility, strength and endurance.
Kavi Pooranmal Das Shikshan Sansthan has limited programmes that focus in the area of education offering two full time courses. The institute offers academic programmes such as Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programme. All these programmes are intended to produce student for teaching profession at various levels of education. The total sanctioned strength for these courses is 150 per year with 100 seats for B.Ed and the remaining 50 seats in D.El.Ed.
