KCG College of Technology Chennai, widely known as KCGCT Chennai was established in 1998 as a Christian minority institution. KCGCT offers courses consisting of 30 programmes which are provided at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in the disciplines of Engineering & Architecture are all approved by All India Council for Technical education (AICTE).
KCG College Of Technology, Chennai has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A’ grade, as well as by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), and it has been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). KCGCT Chennai is also affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. Admission of KCGCT UG programmes are done through TNEA exam, and for PG programmes the institute accepts a valid GATE score card or TANCET score card.
As for doctoral programmes admission, a written test is conducted followed by an interview. 431 UG students were placed during the 2023 placement drives, with a median income of Rs. 4,25,000 LPA, according to NIRF 2024.

KCG college of technology has good infrastructure, laboratories, library, sports centres and hostels. The food is hygienic. Laundry facility is available as well. The campus is clean and green. Hostels are also well maintained.
Its a great place they provide various labs with vast facility. The college has vibrant campus which is green and eco-friendly. The class rooms are built quite good and the labs are equipped well, they have minimal auditoriums.
As our college is famous for aeronautical engineering and mechanical engineering . New departments were introduced last year like automobile and fashion technology and each dept has individual We have all the necessary facilities such as good environment libraries, canteen and etc the hostels contains wifi
