KD Pawar Shikshan Mahavidyalaya at Saoner was set up in 2006 and is an Affiliated College in Saoner, Maharashtra. It is a teacher education institution accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE. It is located at a 7 acre land and actually the affiliated college provides a Bachelors Degree in Education (B. Ed) programme to 100 students every year. At present, there are 96 students registered in the college and there are 5 faculty members in the college where the faculty members are give proper attention with the students and educate them properly. This college hosts a number of learning facility that can be of improved and greatly impact on the student learning abilities. 

A good library contains all the necessary products and information with which the future educator needs to be equipped. It also includes playing fields through which students foster their fitness and ensemble spirit throughout campus sports. An auditorium is for hosting a number of activities and seminars to ensure that academic life is active. In terms of innovation the college is well equipped with modem style of education infrastructure in form of good IT services to ensure the students will be informed of any development in the area of information technology in service delivery. Facilities of all departments include laboratories which are important in practical teacher training. 

KD Pawar Shikshan Mahavidyalaya provides a Bachelors in Education that is a two year, full time programme. It is the intention of this course to create right impedance for one to practice as a teacher of worth and in the process employ appropriate strategy in teaching. The programme has been given an approval for a total of one hundred students intake and many a student with the dream of becoming a teacher is served each and every year. 

Management of admission was also centralised where the merit list prepared according to marks in the qualifying and/or entrance exam was followed at KD Pawar Shikshan Mahavidyalaya.
