The Kerala University College of Teacher Education, Adoor is one of the premier constituent colleges of the University of Kerala. The institute is preparing future teachers and is also recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE. Admission in KUCTE Adoor is usually aligned with the University of Kerala academic calendar.

The eligibility criteria for admission into KUCTE Adoor are that a candidate has to have completed a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

Application Procedure

Application Procedure to get admitted in B.Ed Course at KUCTE Adoor, The process of applying for admission in B.Ed course is as follows:

1. Notice: Admission notice is provided through the college official website and also through other channels of media.

2. Application Form: Applicants have to procure and fill in the application form.

3. Submission of Documents: With the filled-in application form, candidates are to provide the following documents:

• Degree certificates and mark sheets of the qualifying examination
• Self-attested photocopy of the proof for identity
• Recent passport size photographs
• Any documents that may be required as specified in the notification for admission.

4. Entrance Examination: If entrance examination is demanded from any candidate as per the norms of University of Kerala.

5. Merit List: The merit list is prepared strictly on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying examination and/or entrance exam.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed: KUCTE Adoor offers a B.Ed course as a two-year full-time program for aspiring teachers. The college is running only one B.Ed program with approved intake of 50 students each year. Admission to B.Ed is done based on merit score according to marks gotten in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The admission process for B.Ed program is conducted as per the state government or UT administration and the University of Kerala policies. A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university is the eligibility criterion for B.Ed.
