Kerala University College of Teacher Education, Adoor ( KUCTE Adoor) was setup in the year 2015 as a constituent college of the University of Kerala. PATHANAMTHITTA, KERALA It is a co-educational institution which intends to prepare the future educationists to carve a niche. With a campus of just 1.7 acre, KUCTE Adoor has proved its worth as one of the leading teacher education institution of the state. The college is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to assure that the programs offered offer the standard requirement for train teachers.

KUCTE Adoor has all the necessary facilities in order to successfully pursue its educational goals. The college is well stocked with various types of educational resources and literature where the college library plays the key role. Departmental facilities include student-teaching laboratories as well as other laboratories in which students can experience and develop their teaching abilities. 

The college also has an auditorium that will be used in organizing all academic and cultural events in the college thus making the College vibrant. The total student enrollment is 100 due to the fact that the program takes two years to complete.
