Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by the University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram.

Eligibility Criteria

All those who have passed the B.A/B.Sc Degree examination of any of the Universities in Kerala under the 10+2+3 pattern with single main and two subsidiary subjects or of any University recognized by the University of Kerala as equivalent thereto are eligible for admission subject to the following stipulation regarding marks.
However double or triple main candidates of Kerala University and other Universities will be considered for admission if and only they furnished the photocopies of the eligibility certificate from Kerala University along with the application, stating that their qualifying examination is recognized for seeking admission to B.Ed Degree Course in a particular optional subject.
The minimum marks for B.Ed admission is 50% for the Science subjects and 45% for the Arts subjects in part III
A minimum of 50% marks in B.A/B.Sc degree examination for the part I or Part II Languages viz Malayalam as the case may be. They should possess a Masters Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50 % marks
