Keshav College of Education, Karnal was started in the year of 2007 as a co-educational institute for the development of future teachers. Situated in VPO-Salwan, Assandh, Karnal, Haryana, this affiliated college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. There are two courses in education with a total enrolment of 150 students and a faculty strength of 9 members. Keshav College of Education provides a focused learning environment to aspiring teachers.

It has a plethora of facilities that have been designed to enrich the learning experience of the students. The Library with more than 2,500 books on 255 titles and many educational journals is a rich resource for academic enrichment. Other modern amenities like Wi-Fi connectivity in the campus provide opportunities for students to locate and access digital resources at will and any time of day. The indoor and outdoor sports facilities are provided with badminton, table tennis, volleyball, and track events for physical well-being. Vegetarian meals and snacks are provided through a cafeteria on campus, with a view to meeting the dietary needs of both students and staff.

Keshav College of Education offers two full-time courses in the field of education. The approved intake of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme is 100 seats, and that of the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is 50 students. In both cases, the course structure is spread over two years. This enables the institution to have a thorough course of training for the future teachers. Since the institution focuses on these two specialized courses, concentrated efforts are made in bringing out well-trained teachers with ample preparedness to face modern challenges in education.

Keshav College of Education will undertake the admission process based on merit so that only meritorious and deserving candidates take admission here. Admission to the B.Ed. course shall be made based on the merit in the qualifying examination and/or performance in the entrance examination as per rules framed from time to time. The College shall also consider any other selection process as per the policy of the State Government, UT administration, and University. In the case of D.El.Ed. also, admission is made on merit based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, in accordance with the policies of the state government or UT administration.
