Khandelwal College of Management Science and Technology (KCMT), Bareilly is a self-financed institution of MJPRU, Bareilly, which caters to different undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the institution has its own structured procedure for admission which varies according to the course of study. An admission cycle for KCMT conforms to that of its affiliating university, MJP Rohilkhand University of Bareilly. Most undergraduate programs require a candidate to have completed his/her secondary schooling with at least a passing grade from a board recognized by the authority. 

Most postgraduate candidates usually have their bachelor degrees from a recognized university in that particular disciples related subjects. KCMT accepts different types of entrance scores for different courses. Most of the universities use UPCET (Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test) in admitting students into their MBA and MCA courses. For B.Ed admissions, candidates are tested using the UP State Entrance Examination, while M.Ed scores are fetched from the MJP Rohilkhand University Entrance Exam.

Application Process

The application process at KCMT varies from scheme to scheme:

1. For MBA and MCA programs:

• Take the UPCET examination.
• Register for counseling as per UPCET norms.
• In case a seat is allotted at KCMT, the candidate has to get the document verified at the college and complete all formalities of admission.

2. For B.Ed program:

• Take the UP State Entrance Examination.
• That eligible candidate has to follow the prescribed counseling procedure by EXAMINATION AUTHORITY.
• If you got selected, get the admission done at KCMT.

3. For M.Ed program:

• Attend the MJP Rohilkhand University Entrance Exam.
• Go through the counseling process as per instructions by the university.
• If selected, report to KCMT for admission.

4. For undergraduate programs (like BCA, BBA, B.Sc): - Apply directly to the college , - Go through a personal interview , - Admission is based on 10+2 marks and performance in the interview.

5. For postgraduate science programs (M.Sc): - Qualify the relevant entrance exam. - If qualified in the entrance exam, he/she will apply to college. - Any further selection process will possibly take into consideration entrance scores with marks received in school or college.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed: KCMT has approved intake for the B.Ed course is a total of 100 seats. Admissions will be purely merit-based on the marks scored in the qualifying examination and/or the UP State Entrance Examination, as per the policies established by the relevant state government and university.

MBA: KCMT has a capacity of 120 seats for MBA. Admissions are based on the UPCET scores. Though not explicitly stated, it does imply some combination of entrance exam scores and perhaps a personal interview as part of the selection procedure.

MCA: The seat capacity of MCA is 60. Like MBA, admissions for MCA also include registration under UPCET scores.
