Khoj Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Khoj Mahavidyalaya Jaipur was founded in the year of 2010 and is a self Financed College located in the beautiful city of Pinkcity Jaipur-Rajsthan. Located at vidhani, Goner Road this institute has spread across a small area of 1.33 acres of land. In acknowledgment of the college’s dedicated provision of quality education, NCTE has endorsed the college. Khoj Mahavidyalaya boasts 198 students and 15 members of the faculty serving students across the school’s six specialising in the arts, sciences, commerce, and education fields.

Khoj Mahavidyalaya boasts a number of resources which aim to better the student’s experience. College library is an informational deposit centre and a rich source of materials for learning and high level education. For the practical purpose, there are department-based laboratories for which students can practice with the help of that concepts and ideas that they learned. In addition, Khoj Mahavidyalaya has also a very good IT facilities for the students to be connected to to the world in today’s technology era. For a well rounded college experience the college boasts an availability of sporting facilities as well as a modern gymnasium for fitness and enhancement of the minds. Students are able to find a cafeteria on campus and must be able to interact with fellow students in between lessons thus giving then a sense of togetherness.

Khoj Mahavidyalaya offers full time education in total 6 courses for students according to their choice. Some of these are BA, B.Sc, B.com, B.Ed and the combined programmes like the BA B.ed and B.Sc B.Ed. The programme particularly, B.Ed has an approved intake capacity of one hundred seats. Although, specific intakes for other programmes are unknown, the college’s current student intake capacity is 198 students as an implication of the institutions endeavour to ensure it offers any programme successfully respecting class size importance in the learning process.

Khoj Mahavidyalaya has different rules for the admission procedure concerning different kinds of courses. As to admission policy of the B.Ed programme, the admission criteria are on merit, that is, the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and or the entrance test as may be prescribed by the state government and the University. The integrated BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed programme entry is slightly more channelised with admissions given through PTET – Pre-Teacher Education Test, an agency entrusted by the State Government in consonance to the directions given by NCTE. The eligibility criteria for these programmes involves 50% for general merit students passing in graduation with 45% for SC, ST and OBC category students. That being said, we import and emphasise that the college is not directly involved in admitting or transferring students to these programmes. Even though admission seasons are set, there is no fixed dates for admission the prospective students are therefore urged to monitor the college website and local radios for admission deadlines and examinations.
