KIIT School of Fashion Technology was set up in the year 2009,Located in Bhubaneswar, Orissa; It is a constituent college under the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. Established in the year of 2010 this special educational institute is based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha and is co-educational institute and offer courses related to fashion and textile designs. The school is located at a 5-acres campus and has 9 faculty members in its team. FSFT aims to produce harmonised environment where learning can flourish; with this issue in mind, KIIT School of Fashion Technology offers the two main undergraduate programmes in fashion and textile design. This has been made clear by offering a focused curriculum that feeds individuals into industries with ready market for skills offered by the institute.

KIIT School of Fashion Technology offers various amenities for the improvement of students’ learning environment. KIIT School of Fashion Technology currently offers two full-time undergraduate programmes: Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design and Bachelor of Design in Textile Design. They are both four-year courses that offer broad based education in their fields of specialisation. Intake capacity for Fashion Design programme is 50 seats while for Textile Design programme it is 30 seats.

KIITEE: Admission for KIIT School of Fashion Technology is granted mainly on the basis of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination the result of which serves as parameter to determine the admission ranking. KIITEE being an all-India entrance examination is organised by KIIT University, Bhubaneswar and is the principal pathway for the prospective students. It starts with a written exam and is continued with a Creativity and Situation Test designed to evaluate the candidate’s ability in designing and creative thinking.
