The PhD program at KSOM is designed to provide students with research knowledge and skills to make them specialized researchers. The program has adequate flexibility to cater to full time scholars and working executives. This Centre for Management and Leadership Research aims to create new management knowledge relevant for India and emerge as an inclusive platform for cross-disciplinary research.

Eligibility Criteria

KSOM is looking for candidates with a consistently good academic record, professional accomplishments and a strong urge to contribute to knowledge creation and dissemination in the field of management. The admission for the Ph.D. Programme will be in accordance with the rules and clauses of the Ph.D. regulations of the University. The eligibility criteria for applying into the programme :

M.Tech./ME /MCA /MBA/ or an equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks or an equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
M.Sc./MA/M.Com./LLM or an equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)
B.Tech./ BE or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
A valid GATE score is essential for students having B.Tech./ BE degree.

Candidates in their final year degree and expecting post-graduation results within June can also apply for the PhD Programme. Such applicants are required to submit along with their application form, a certificate from the Principal or Head of the Institution to the effect that the candidate is expected to complete all requirements for completion and award of the degree within June.

All the working executives will also have to furnish a “NO Objection Certificate” from the Employer in addition to all other academic documents.

Selection Process

Selection to the doctoral programme will be based on the performance in the written test, career marks and performance in personal interview.

Application Process:

Option 1. Candidates need to take the written test conducted by KIIT University, i.e.KIITEE. For application procedure details , please visit KIITEE website.
Route 2. Candidates with valid UGC-NET scores need not appear for KIITEE . Such candidates can directly apply to KSOM with their UGC-NET Score

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is extraordinary and the best in Odisha then any other educational institution with facilities of Smart Classrooms, Auditorium, Playground, Gym, Swimming Pool, Activity Center, etc. Green and Clean campus with no vehicle zone inside. Food courts and restaurants are major attractions.
