Kishan Institute of Teacher's Education, Meerut, is an established name known for producing the next-generation teaching professionals. Kishan Institute has four specialist courses of teacher education to which it accepts 186 students. The Kishan Institute admissions are put together to admit strongly motivated and efficient candidates wishing to join teaching profession.
The institute has a merit-based admission policy, usually through entrance tests conducted by the university or other authorized bodies. The tests are course-specific and offered by the institute. Admission season is usually synchronized with the academic calendar, and admissions open several months prior to the beginning of the academic year.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The B.Ed program with 100 seats is offered on the basis of a combined entrance test conducted by the university or any other authorized agency. The candidate should have already completed his/her undergraduate degree to be considered for this two-year program.
B.P.Ed (Bachelor of Physical Education): The B.P.Ed course, with 50 seats, has a thorough admission process. Merit-based selection is done on the basis of marks secured in the entrance test, which consists of a written test, fitness test, and interview. The percentage of the candidate in the qualifying examination is also taken into account.
D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): Admission for the D.El.Ed course with 50 seats is made on the basis of merit. It is decided on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and/or an entrance test. The process of selection follows the state government or UT administration policies.
M.Ed (Master of Education): The M.Ed course, having 25 seats, is merit-based in its admission procedure. The candidates are chosen on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination, an entrance test, or any other mode of selection as may be decided by the state government's policies, university, or UT administration.
