KK Handique Government Sanskrit College was founded in 1970 It is one of the well-known interpose situated at jalukbari, Guwahati, Assam. This affiliated college is an institute of Sanskrit learning and culture that actively ensures the promotion of Sanskrit language. Entry of 50 students The BA Sanskrit Major is the flagship course. Others are Diploma and PG Diploma in Yoga and Meditation, Diploma in Jyotisha and Diploma in Tantra. These are one to three year courses intended forstudenst, who have a desire to learn the traditional Indianknowledge systems and practices. For some courses however the streams and enrollment figures are not clear but the total student intake for all the courses is 143.
