KKC College of Nursing, Chittoor was established in the year 2005 as an affiliated college. It is situated along the Tirupathi-Chennai Highway in the heart of Parameswaramangalam, Puttur, Andhra Pradesh. The institution stretches over a sprawling 3-acre campus with a total student strength of 230 students. The college is approved by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. KKC College of Nursing enjoys the pride of a concentrated learning environment for aspiring nurses with 27 members of the faculty. There are two full-time nursing programmes in the institute: B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, catering to different needs of education in nursing.
The facilities available for the students are excellent. The boys' and girls' hostels, with an intake capacity of 300 students each, are available in the college campus. The hostel has spacious, well-furnished rooms with modern facilities that would provide comfort while staying in the hostel. The hostels are provided with RO purified drinking water and security services by professionals round the clock. It also has a well-stocked library that serves as the learning cum research hub in the college. It has an extensive collection of books on nursing, science, and related subjects, and also its own journals and non-book materials. Added to these is a cafeteria that strongly focuses on nutritious and hygienic food preparation while striking a balance between traditional flavour and modern dietary standards.
KKC College of Nursing offers two primary nursing courses. The B.Sc. Nursing programme is a full-time four-year course, with an intake capacity of 50. The Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing is a full-time two-year programme with an intake capacity of 30 students. Both the courses have been structured to offer thorough theoretical knowledge supported by adequate practical skills to make a candidate successful in her nursing career. The intake in all courses put together totals 80.
