KKG College of Education, Peraiyur, started in 2015 in Kondureddipatti, Madurai district, Tamil Nadu and is a co-ed supported college. This affiliated college is also approved by the National Council for Teacher Education NCTE, it shows the concern for quality teacher education. The college occupies a 1 ½ acres land today and it admits 197 students from all levels and has 8 faculty members. KKG College of Education has only one programme of study, which is the B.Ed, with an approved intake of one hundred students, a sign of the college’s special emphasis on producing teachers.

KGK College of Education is equipped with numerous facilities with regard to improving the learning environment of the college students. The library easily emerges as a major facility as owns over 4,500 books which are reference and other books and has many journals and magazines. For physical development, sports facilities have been provided to all the students as a part of student skill facilities. Transportation services are also offered, for which specific passes to travel in the selected routes are provided for free of charge by the college. For practical teaching and training purposes, the institution has kept departmental laboratories. The IT resources available are said to be good to improve the students’ learning through the provision of state of the art facilities. If required, first aid facilities are available at the health centre to take care of medical emergency. The college also has an auditorium for instance to conduct events and seminars as well as improving the student’s organisational activities on the college compound. Another important eating joint is the cafeteria for staff and students with a designated area for a united campus.

KKG College of Education only provides teacher education majoring in a single full-time programme called the B.Ed course. This programme has an approved intake capacity of 100-seats for two years, this shows the college has the capacity to deliver quality education to many intending teachers. It is important of the B.Ed course to equip the students with all that they were required to become professional teachers.
