KM Patel Institute of Physiotherapy is a Physiotherapy College in the City of Anand. It was established in the year 1999. KM Patel Institute of Physiotherapy is the first institute in Gujarat, India, under which physiotherapy education has been introduced. It is an affiliated college operating at Karamsad and conducts different specialised physiotherapy courses. The campus area spans to 111 acres appropriately useful for learning and research work. KM Patel Institute of Physiotherapy offers an intake capacity of 111 students under the faculties of 68 to provide individual attention and quality education. KM Patel Institute of Physiotherapy offers 7 courses in 2 degrees, which include neurology, musculoskeletal disorders, paediatrics, women's health and many more modes of physiotherapy.

KM Patel Institute of Physiotherapy is dedicated to state-of-the art facilities for the improvement of learning and development of the students it delivers. It has an open access library on campus with an enormous collection of books and journals related to physiotherapy and connected fields. It offers 7 full-time courses, including undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the institute. The undergraduate programme will be a single flagship programme, of 4 years in duration, being the Bachelor of Physiotherapy. It will be a full time programme approved to intake 30 students for that academic year. At the post graduate level, there will be a number of Master of Physiotherapy programmes with 2 year duration for every one. Courses under MPT include Neurological and Psychosomatic Disorders, Musculoskeletal Disorders and Sports, Cardio Respiratory Disorders and Intensive Care, Community-Based Rehabilitation, Paediatric Physiotherapy, and Women's Health. 

Admission to KM Patel Institute of Physiotherapy is guided by the criteria and process that would lead to the selection of the most meritorious students in the institution. Central-level admission for the BPT course takes place by the Government of Gujarat with the help of ACPUGMEC. Thus, the process itself is very transparent and based solely on merit. For the MPT programme, entrance shall be purely based on entrance examinations conducted at the university level.
