KMCT Dental College and Hospital was started in the year 2006 at Kozhikode, Kerala is one of the recognised dental college in the state of Kerala. The college is a 6-acre campus affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences and recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI). It has equally has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in a bid of ensuring quality education at the university. The KMCT Dental College has a total strength of 563 students and 141 teaching faculties, providing about 9 courses in two degree categories in dental science specialisation.

Some of the amenities make it possible to support the current instructional programmes in the KMCT Dental College and Hospital : The central library has a hall area, approximately 8500 sq ft with a collection of 6000 books and more than 100 national and international journals for the students’ use. The campus has technologically friendly teaching facilities including computers and Audio Visual Facilities for laptops giving a nice experience. Among the accommodation facilities availed to students in their discipline of study, the college has adequate hostel facilities for both male and female students. The DC has first aid facilities available on campus for students’ health and safety concerns as a health centre is in campus. The college also has indoor sport facilities that shape the students, encouraging both academic and body fitness.

The faculties and courses offered in KMCT Dental College are BDS, a single under graduation course and MDS eight programmes in Dental science. All the offered courses are indeed under full time programs Some of the courses offered at the university include; BDS course which takes 5 years BDS while all the MDS courses take 3 years each.
