Kodada Institute of Technology and Science for Women (KITS) was coming to existence in early 2008 which is an affiliated college established in Kodada, Nalgonda, Telangana. It is an institute for women only, recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education and offers engineering streams. KITS is a college spread over 2.69 acres of land possessing an overall student enrolment capacity of 1,347 and faculty strength of 160. The institute also offers 15 courses offered across 3 degree programmes with focus on engineering fields. KITS believes in creating future professionals in technology and engineering by offering excellent technical education to women.

The Kodada Institute of Technology and Science for Women has a variety of amenities that would enhance the achievement of the academic and personal goals of students. The over-arched reference room contains in excess of 25,058 books, 3,718 different titles and has seating space for 200 students. The infrastructural amenities includes modern facilities in the dimension of cafeteria for the accommodation of one hundred people, and the standard of meals provided are hygienically prepared. Another important recognised by KITS is the transport facilities available for students and staff where one can easily commute. The college provides for bodily and healthful activities that one requires in their daily life with a focus on available sports fields and a gym. For academics, the college provides adequate laboratory facilities for each department, and a hi-tech digital language laboratory for skill development in communication.

KITS has a wide range of engineering courses available which are 4 B.Tech, 5 M.Tech Specialisations and 4 Diploma such as B.Tech ECE, ME, AIML. The team of full-time professors are committed to offer students hands-on practical education in all full time courses. The B.Tech programmes take 120 intakes for each programme offered, while the intake capacity of the M.Tech and Diploma programmes differ. The total proposed intake across all courses is 801 students Approval of courses and intake for each course for the following programmes are as shown below. This enables a student to select one or more areas of interest of engineering specialisation to study and pursue.

Entrance examinations are the major key to get admission in KITS as for as the information collected is concerned. To fill B.Tech seats, the college follows EAMCET ranking for TS EAMCET codes 3159. M.Tech Admission is done through TS PGECET while Diploma admissions are taken through TS POLYCET which is an examination Common entrance test for admissions into Professional courses. These examinations provide a racial and equitable way of sieving the candidates. Since these examinations are normally held at least once every year, the institute follows their admission timetable.
