Kodungallur Kunhikkuttan Thampuran Memorial Government College Thrissur is an affiliated college situated at Thrissur, Kerala, which started its functioning in the academic year 1965-66. NAAC accredited institution offering a wide offering a wider choice of programs in the fields of undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Located in a ten hectare lot compound the college has total student population of 841 and distribution between male and female students is 235 and 596 respectively. The faculty of 50 qualified teachers work for the institution. 12 courses in five degree programs are offered by this college which offer specialisations in History, Malayalam, Mathematics, Zoology and Polymer Chemistry.

The library uses a KOHA 20.05 version and has Online Public Access Catalogue feature that has been implemented. Students can access the library on all working days from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Socially there are facilities for recreation and students in matters related to physical fitness the college offers a, well equipped gym. People interested in sports shall be able to access different sports amenities that are put in place in the campus. The college also provide modern Information Technology facilities to implement the college’s digital learning goals. 

Kodungallur Kunhikkuttan Thampuran Memorial Government College provide a total of 12 courses out of which some of them provided both UG and PG courses. These include 7 full time undergraduate courses and 5 postgraduate courses, offered through traditional face to face learning. The total approved intake of all the courses is 371 only. Though actual graduation figures for the current year are missing, its education claims can be seen in its multiple programs, and large enrolment.
