Kongunadu College of Education founded in 2007 is a reputed college for teacher education in Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu – India. This affiliated college is established in Velagoundampatti and under the recognition of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It occupies 5 acres of land and offers a favourable learning ambience due to ample infrastructure facilities. The college currently has 71 students, and the faculty strength is 11; hence, the college’s student-teacher ratio is friendly, possible, and facilitates achievement of quality results.

Kongunadu College of Education possess several infrastructures that are aimed at improving the learning process of the college learners. A soundubbed library is a storehouse of knowledge whereas having all facilities of modern world these laboratories facilitate practical learning. On the campus, there are athletic fields, a gym, and a multipurpose hall for inter-/extramural activities and functions. Kongunadu College of Education is currently offering only one course the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme right now. This is a regular two-year course which has an assessed capacity of 100 students on an endeavour to reflect our goal of producing quality teachers. The B.Ed programme aims at preparing professional teachers who will effectively disseminate knowledge, skills and values at their places of work.
