Kr RC Mahila Degree College Mainpuri was established in 1981 is an affiliated college for women situated in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. The institution is found on Court Road, opposite St. Mary’s Hospital and has the core business of offering quality education to female students. NCTE, the National Council for Teacher Education has given its approval to the college in providing a wide choice of undergraduate and post graduate programs. The college has made available several facilities which can complement the education of the students learning in the college. A rich library centre with all modern facilities is the center of information and academic department laboratory is the centre of practical learning. This campus has facilities such as an Events and seminar facility known as an auditorium that ensures active academic environment on the compound. As regards the facility for the students, the college has girls’ hostel for better stay and security for the students. There is a cafeteria which can prepare food for both human resources of the University and the students. The institution also gives importance to health wellbeing in the campus there are sports facilities for the students. Further, to the college has ensured that it has good facilities in the area of IT as it follows modern technologies in the teaching area. The college provides wide number of educational programs: there are 23 full-time courses in Mahila Degree College for women. The institution offers 8 undergraduate programs, 11 postgraduate courses, and 7 doctorate courses to meet the educational goals needs of students. In all its courses, the college has 1126 approved intake of students to offer, plus amenities to enhance the learning process. Although, there may have been some changes with the graduation data of the year, which is not therefore available its endeavor to the course and facilities can easily be seen. 

The admission process of Kr RC Mahila Degree College is different for different courses. For all the undergraduate courses such as BA, B.Sc, etc admissions are normally done based on merit of the candidate, that means clearance of marks obtained in the relevant examination, eligible for admission. The B.Ed program has a more formal pattern of admission, since the candidates are admitted on the basis of merit they have secured in the qualifying examination and/ or entrance test conducted by the state government or university norms. Likewise, for M.Ed, admission is done on the cumulative score basis with marks from the qualifying examination or an entrance examination, subject to norms of Government as well as University.
