Krishnasamy College of Engineering and Technology is one of the well known engineering college situated in CuddaloreTamil Nadu which was started in the year 2001. One of the affiliated college of Anna University Chennai offering our undergraduate and Post graduate programs in several range of engineering fields. KCET Cuddalore has the recognize of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which makes sure the standards of the education it offers. The faculty size of this institute is 73 members; it has an together size of 730 students of which 98% are under graduate students and remaining 2% are post graduate students. The college boasts a gender ratio of 3:The gender ration is actually 1 (male to female) in order to show that it supports a worthy cause of the education of girls.

Regarding the facilities that are offered by KCET Cuddalore the following are as follows; The campus has well designed laboratory setups with RF and Microwave, Linear Integrated Circuit, Computer Network & VLSI/Embedded Systems Laboratory. A centrally located library with a total of 20,000 sq. ft. has sub-segmentation of area for undergraduate/ postgraduate students with considerable focus to read and research. The welfares of the students are precious to the college, the college provides well furnished hostels for boys and girls with dining halls, reading rooms, and medical facilities round the clock. It has the grounds for cricket football and even kabaddi for the sports lovers, the indoor games like chess, table tennis, etc. A modern gym and a high capacity auditorium helps to ensure the over all development of students.

In total, KCET Cuddalore has provided 9 subjects to be taken across the 3 degrees, for a set of student interests. Presently, institute offer four Under Graduate programs, which are B.E. Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with intake of 60 students each. The college provides postgraduate programs for aspirants and admission to M.E. programs in Computer Science and Engineering and Embedded Systems Technologies and MCA. The B.Tech in Information Technology is another program is among the most preferred programs among students. All the above stated courses are conducted full time and this makes the students to have a more rounded and focused learning period.

The admission process of KCET Cuddalore is based on the merit in the Entrance Test and the Qualifying test respectively. To getting undergraduate admissions, the candidates need to sit for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions or TNEA examination. The admissions for the postgraduate aspirants are offered on the basis of Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission (CEETA-PG) or Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET). The college follows the counselling schedule of Anna University with TNEA 2024 grievances to be lodged between 11/07/2024 and 20/07/2024. Candidates who belong to the General category, and have to self-report for CEETA-PG 2024 will have to do so on July 22, 2024.

KCET Cuddalore provides a number of scholarships to help students including SC/ ST/ BC/ OBC/ Minority students. These are the First Graduate Scholarship, 7.5 % reservation quota for students studying in the government school, and Pudhumai Penn Scheme for girls. This college also reward merit-based scholarships that offers concession in the first-year tuition fee in accordance with the mark obtained in Class 12th. Besides that, the establishment of scholarships for BC/MBC, SC/ST, and minority poor students provides appropriate financial assistance for each of them.
