Krishnasamy Institute of Post-Graduate Studies was started in the year 2002 and it became an affiliated college in Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu. This is a co-educational institution with a recognition from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to produce quality techno technicians. Located in Kumarapuram, Nellikuppam Main Road, the institute offers a specialised curriculum while simultaneously providing only one postgraduate course. The faculty consists of 9 members, and the institute wants to prepare its students for career advancement by offering them proper individual attention.

The institute has several facilities that can in a way improve the learning outcome of students studying at the institute. A resource centre that provides learning resources for academic use and competence in information is also an important asset of the library.
