Krupajal Computer Academy, Bhubaneswar, was established in 1996 as an affiliated college located at Prashanti Vihar, near CIFA, Kausalya Ganga. The institute occupies a campus area of 1.59 acres and is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). As a computer-orientated academy, the institute provides a postgraduate course in Master of Computer Applications (MCA). The faculty at the institute currently consists of 22 members to teach and train a total of 11 students. Krupajal Computer Academy is famous for providing more importance to the technical education in computer science.

The academy offers some services to ensure that its learners have desirable learning equipment. There are boys and girls hostels available on campus that provide comfortable accommodation in twin-sharing furnished rooms along with facilities like a TV lounge, a Jacuzzi, and recreational facilities. The library is highly functional as a reference centre, possessing an array of technical and general books, journals, and periodicals. Computer networking and data communication infrastructure, which also includes the Internet/Web, is available on the entire campus. Through procurement of air conditioners and modern equipment and facilities in laboratories, students gain. The institute also avails facilities such as canteen facilities, an institute auditorium, and transport facilities for use on a daily basis and in case of an emergency.

As of now, Krupajal Computer Academy has only one postgraduate programme, namely the Master of Computer Applications (MCA). This is a three-year full-time course with an approved annual intake of 120 students. The MCA programme aims to equip students with the latest and most relevant knowledge and skills for the advancement of their IT careers. The academy provides quality education to the learners by investing in quality facilities and employing qualified human resources.

Admission into the MCA programme of Krupajal Computer Academy is done using the Odisha joint entrance examination (OJEE). Based on the OJEE merit list, counselling done by OJEE only selects all the candidates for various courses. The eligibility criteria for the MCA course do not restrict the age of admission and thus are open to all sectors of students. 

Admission to the institute is based on the scores obtained in the OJEE, which is now one of the most widely recognised entrance exams of Odisha for several technical and professional degree programmes.
