KS Maniam College of Education, Irukkur, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, was started in 2005. This is a NCTE-approved institution offering teacher education programmes. Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): B. Ed. at KS Maniam College of Education is a two-year full-time course with 100 seats. Admission to the B. Ed. course is based on merit, which is determined according to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination, as prescribed by the state government and the concerned university. A candidate should hold an undergraduate degree to apply for the B. Ed. course.
D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D.El.Ed course is conducted as a full-time two-year program and offers a total of 50 seats for admission. This course too operates on merit basis where admission will be based on scores in the qualifying examination as well as/ or an entrance examination. This procedure will be conducted in accordance with the rules laid down by the State Government and other concerned authorities. The eligibility is usually 10+2 or an equivalent examination.
