KS Maniam College of Education and is an NCTE-approved institution for teacher education programmes in Tamil Nadu. Admission to the college is based on the merit of candidates in the qualifying examinations or entrance tests, according to the policies of the Government of Tamil Nadu and the university to which it is affiliated. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): B. Ed. at KS Maniam College of Education is a two-year full-time course with 100 seats. Admission to the B. Ed. course is based on merit, which is determined according to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination, as prescribed by the state government and the concerned university. A candidate should hold an undergraduate degree to apply for the B. Ed. course.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D.El.Ed course is conducted as a full-time two-year program and offers a total of 50 seats for admission. This course too operates on merit basis where admission will be based on scores in the qualifying examination as well as/ or an entrance examination. This procedure will be conducted in accordance with the rules laid down by the State Government and other concerned authorities. The eligibility is usually 10+2 or an equivalent examination.
