KU College of Engineering and Technology, Warangal, officially known as KUCET, is an affiliated college of Kakatiya University in the city of Warangal, Telangana. Located in the premises of Kakatiya University, this institution has been shaping the young generation of engineers and technologists. The college is recognised as a well-known engineering college. The college is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) which makes the college to operate on a set quality standard. The list of engineering and technology disciplines available in KUCET reflects programme developments in response to the needs of the marketplace and society.

The college has various infrastructure facilities that are meant to improve the learning environment of students. The keep of any academic resources is the library which is well endowed with the necessary materials for the student’s and faculty’s needs. It has a large stock of tutorial and books, journals and electronic resources for use by scholars within a conducive environment. KUCET has excellent IT facilities. It is also proud to provide and provide students with modern computing facilities, fast internet, and the latest software tools for their disciplines. In addition, KUCET provides well equipped laboratories for different departments and sections. Through these labs, students are given a platform to practice what they have learnt in class as they try to solve real life problems.

KUCET has a wide range of courses for students in various classes of higher learning. The college offers ten courses from four degree programmes to meet various intelligence and career needs. The flagship programmes include Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) courses in the fields like Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and one of the new unique courses being offered – Computer Science & Engineering with Data Science. All these B.Tech programmes are planned and structured to allow the students take a full four years of their programme and equip them with knowledge and skills required in their areas of specialisation. KUCET also has provisions for postgraduation for those who seek to pursue their studies to the next level. These are a two-year full-time M.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering, MBA and MCA respectively. 

There is a sound admission process as a policy in KU College of Engineering and Technology. For the undergraduate engineering programmes, the college admits majority of the students based on the rank obtained in the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET).

College Infrastructure

There is a medium infrastructure and facilities are good and equipment is sufficient , libraries are species and tournaments are there in college ,wifi will be available 24 hrs and the food is hygienic

The fees for B.Tech courses at Kakatiya University College of Engineering (KUCE) is approximately Rs 27770 per annum. Total fees for four years will be around Rs 1,10,800, not including hostel fees and is subject to change. In addition, the college offers attractive scholarships for SC/ST students whose family income is below two lakhs per annum.

Dear Aspirant,

If you are from the unreserved general category then you will not be getting any government college for CSE Branch whether NIT or IIIT or GFTI. I suggest you should either prepare again for the JEE 2021, or take admission in some private colleges.
